With fraud cases on the rise, concerns about their prevalence and growing sophistication are reaching a fever pitch. To fight fraud, Nacha has set new rules to safeguard payment data, including a mandate for ACH originators to encrypt routing and account numbers and to pre-validate WEB debits prior to origination. In this session, speakers discuss the ways in which fraud perpetrators and their targets are changing; the new regulations that firms need to comply with to reduce their risks; and reviews the latest tools that bring fraud volumes down by authenticating and verifying accounts, identifying risk prior to sending ACH, RTP and Wire payments.
