As the Public Funds Champion, Ernie was responsible for developing the public funds strategy for Compass Bank and during his tenure, public funds deposits grew from $800M to $3.5B
Before joining BBVA, Ernie spent 16 years at JPMorgan Chase, including 6 years as a Commercial Banker and 3 years as a Private Client Advisor. Prior to Chase, he spent 3 years at South Main Bank as Credit Officer and Compliance Officer. Ernest has 38 years of banking experience and 18 years of Treasury Management experience.
